Covering all the major components throughout the car’s life, the warranty is valid on the vehicle as long as the car’s first registered keeper retains ownership. However, at Eden Vauxhall buyers of used Vauxhall vehicles which would have been covered by the Lifetime Warranty had the car been been bought new, can purchase the cover which remains valid until the vehicle reaches 100,000 miles. Cost varies dependent on vehicle and mileage so be sure to ask us when you buy your used Vauxhall.

The comprehensive Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty*, which covers all Vauxhall passenger vehicles, includes the following throughout the life of the vehicle up to 100,000 miles:-

  • Powertrain and steering
  • Brake parts
  • Cooling
  • Safety systems
  • Air-conditioning
  • Electronic components

To maintain the Lifetime Warranty, owners simply need to visit a Vauxhall retailer annually for a free vehicle inspection. The Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty does not include routine service and maintenance items, natural wear and tear, or if any non-approved modifications or conversions are carried out.

Year 1 
All new Vauxhall passenger cars are covered by a one-year unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty with qualifying repairs at no cost to you.

Years 2 & 3
The manufacturer’s warranty is extended for two more years up to a maximum of 60,000 miles.

Lifetime!
After that, Vauxhall provides a unique Lifetime Warranty, available to the first owner for an unlimited time period and a maximum of 100,000 miles.

*The Vauxhall warranty is provided via a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer. All you have to do is present your Warranty Card along with your completed and up-to-date Service Booklet to a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer. The lifetime warranty is dependent on an annual vehicle check at an Vauxhall Authorised Repairer who will activate the warranty extension for another year. The Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty is valid for a lifetime up to 100,000 miles on new Vauxhall passenger cars registered from 1st August 2010 as long as the vehicle remains with its first registered owner. Used car buyers can purchase the warranty on pre-owned Vauxhall vehicles registered from 1st August 2010 from Eden Vauxhall.
